The ABCs of Getting Involved in Your Local Public Library

The ABCs of Getting Involved in Your Local Public Library

This event is a teach-in for Leftists about how local public libraries actually function:

Who governs local libraries? Who funds local libraries? How does one find out this information?

How can you get involved in your local library as a trustee, board member, or as part of a Friends of the Library group? Hear from current elected officials and candidates about the ins and outs of seeking and holding public office and learn about how to get started in your community.

We will be asking participants to do some pre-work which involves local research as part of your registration - click the button to sign up now.
